Infection Control Guidelines

The development of scientifically based guidelines is paramount for the practice of infection control. The APIC Guidelines Committee is responsible for commissioning, coordinating, producing, and revising APIC Guidelines for Infection Control Practice. The full-text of most APIC guidelines is available for review and/or downloading.  Infection control guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Healthcare Infection Control Practices Advisory Committee (HICPAC) are reprinted in the American Journal of Infection Control to keep APIC members informed about the latest principles and practices of infection control.
